Yes, we’ve been hit by the road construction bug. It’s awesome. (Note: Sarcasm) The distanced between Rt 23 and just past our driveway has been closed since May 4th and will stay closed until July 13th. Hopefully sooner, but I won’t hold my breath. The gentlemen who have been working on the road have been fabulous. They have made an access road for Memorial’s Home Care building and have added an access road from that one to our driveway, but it’s still not the easiest place to drive through.
BUT – if you are coming to see us, be patient with the gentlemen working and they will happily help you cross. When it’s all over, we’ll have a 4 lane road instead of a 2 lane. That will help us tremendously during 5 o’clock rush AND during the holiday season. So, eyes on the finished product, eh?
